Harbour Lights
An open-air beachfront club that offers a distinct Caribbean atmosphere. Both locals and visitors alike are attracted to Harbour Lights with its special theme nights that include Beach Parties and Drink Free nights. Exciting dinner shows are held on various nights and feature ice cold tropical drinks, barefoot dancing on the soft sand, and some of the island’s best local entertainment. All ages are welcome from 7:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays providing a fun-filled night the whole family can enjoy. After 10:30 p.m. Harbour Lights heats up as a local DJ spins the soundtrack for a wild night of exotic drinks and care free dancing. The cover charge varies depending on the nigh of the week and usually includes a free drink on Saturdays.

Oistins Fish Fry
Oistins is one of Barbados’ most popular destinations because of the frequent fish frys that are held every Friday and Saturday nights. Hundreds of locals and visitors come to Oistins to enjoy some great local seafood and cuisine such as fried and grilled fish, fish cakes, sweet potato, macaroni pie and coleslaw. Calypso and reggae music fills the air adding to the fun-filled nights that can always be found at Oistins. The Flying Fish is a national dish of Barbados and is a must try along with a variety of other local favorites that include grouper and mahi-mahi.

McBride’s Pub
McBride's, one of the newest additions to the popular south coast St. Lawrence Gap, boasts a refreshing authenticity that is unique in the island. One of the few true pubs found in Barbados, McBrides is Irish through and through with genuine memorabilia such as stained glass, photos of old Dublin and liquor barrels. Not to mention the nightly live Irish music. Its extensive menu tempts you to sample the best of all kinds of homemade foods, from snacks to hearty meals. Or, stop in for a drink on the open air patio. Either way, McBride's is a truly novel experience.

The Boatyard/ Taboo
The Boatyard/ Taboo by day offers a variety of water sports, snorkeling, beach volleyball, kayaking and much more. When the sun goes down the Boatyard becomes one of Barbados’ top nightlife destinations. With live entertainment, beach parties and a variety of theme nights the Boatyard offers fun and excitement for everyone. Fat Tuesday’s feature free drinks and a live band, Sunset Wednesdays brings some of Barbados’ top DJ’s and Yardfest Saturday’s offers theme parties with free drinks, live entertainment, the island’s top DJ’s and a evening filled with non-stop excitement.

Cafe Sol Mexican
Café Sol is a Mexican grill and margarita bar located on the St. Lawrence Gap and is open seven days a week. Find all your favorite Mexican dishes such as nachos, tacos, burritos and tostada’s accompanied by a long list of margaritas. Guests will also find a nice selection of International dishes such as burgers and chicken wings. Desserts at Café Sol include fresh cheesecake, hot apple pie, mouth-watering sundaes as well as a wide variety of International coffees. Live music on weekends adds to the comfortable and friendly atmosphere that Café Sol is known for.

Malibu Rum Beach Club
Lying to the north of Bridgetown, this manufacturer of white rum has been going strong since 1897. The distillery is known for producing a very popular island drink, coconut rum. To make this tour even more enticing, the center is constructed on an idyllic stretch of white-sand beach set against a backdrop of sea-grape and almond trees. Also on-site is a beachside grill where lunch and rum punches are served. The price of the tour includes a rum drink and the use of a beach chair. In contrast to the sunny beach, the distillery is dark with a lot of old equipment, including a century-old copper-pot still.

St. James Parish Church

This 170 year old Gothic style church in St. John could be in the Cotswolds were it not for the gorgeous panoramas afforded by this blissfully serene Cliffside setting. There is history everywhere, from the floor paved with ancient tablets to the adjacent cemetery, where you can study the headstones dote island notables.

St. Nicholas Abbey
350 years of history and tradition, St. Nicholas Abbey is one of Barbados' most historic landmarks.  This Jacobean Mansion was built in 1658, a mere 30 years after the first settlement of the island.  It is one of only three exisitng in Western Hemisphere.  The plantation and its buildings have remainded much as they were for the previous three centuries, thus preserving a wealth of history and tradition. The residence is open to the public daily, including the various outbuilding which support a cottage industry in sugar; the hand bottling of unique blends of Rum, Sugar and Molasses, This 1890 steam mill will occasionally be avaiable for viewing, and visitors can also enjoy a light lunch on the terrace cafe.

Sunbury Plantation House
For a glimpse back in time at a real life plantation home, visit this 300 year old, well maintained plantation house in St. Philip. Its Victorian era appliances and implements, handmade furnishings and horse drawn buggies, some of the island’s first teak and mahogany trees were planted on the grounds and an enjoyable tea service is offered in the gardens.
